Grocery retail experience → product innovation

Built from the grocery aisle. Designed for the whole store.

We are building a retail operating system that connects checkout, inventory, purchasing and financial workflows. Our starting point is hands-on experience in grocery retail—and the everyday problems independent store owners face.

The problem

One store. Too many disconnected records.

A sale at the till changes stock. A purchase invoice changes cost. A supplier payment changes the balance. When these records live in separate tools, owners spend time reconciling them instead of running their store.

Our perspective

Designed around the work behind the counter.

Our product direction comes from working in the market sector. We focus on practical store workflows: barcode and pack-unit handling, changing purchase prices, supplier documents, fast checkout and stock that must sell before it expires.

Product direction

A connected workspace for the whole store.

MarketSistem is the public product initiative. Current application previews are branded MarketPilot.

Local-first. Cloud-connected vision.

The store should keep moving.

Our first pilot targets a single Windows computer with local .NET, React and SQLite operation. The longer-term goal is synchronized local and cloud operation: keep checkout running locally during an internet interruption, then synchronize verified records when connectivity returns.

Cloud/local synchronization is a development goal. It has not yet been delivered or validated in a production pilot.

Planned Claude API integration

From a document photo to a reviewed store record.

We plan to use the Claude API to turn everyday store documents into reviewable structured information. The messaging channels and AI integrations are on our roadmap; they are not live features today.

01

Capture

The owner photographs a purchase invoice or payment receipt and sends it through a planned WhatsApp or Telegram workflow.

02

Read and match

Claude extracts document fields and proposes matches to product cards, purchase prices, invoices and payments. Ambiguous fields remain visible for review.

03

Review and approve

The owner checks the source image, suggested matches and totals before approving a record in the store system.

Later roadmap

Turn verified store data into better stock decisions.

Later, we plan to combine verified sales, costs, stock and expiry records to estimate sales velocity and stock coverage, identify products with stronger margins, and suggest campaigns for unsold stock approaching its expiry date. These are future decision-support features.

Where we are today

Building toward a real-store pilot.

Early-stage product development. Checkout and management screens have been demonstrated with sample data. The integrated financial MVP and full production pilot are still in development. Cloud synchronization, messaging integrations and Claude-powered processing are planned.
